Core Ethical Principles

1. Build Trust and Credibility: Adhere to commitments, honesty, and integrity. All actions must build trust for Data Extreme Co., Ltd. and support long-term success.

2. Respect for the Individual: Ensure dignity and respect in the workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities and maintain a harassment-free environment.

3. Create a Culture of Open and Honest Communication: Encourage employees to raise ethical concerns freely. Managers must foster openness and investigate all reports via our whistleblower policy.

4. Set Tone at the Top: Management must model ethical behavior and view ethics concerns as constructive communication to be addressed promptly.

5. Uphold the Law: Strictly comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Seek expert advice when legal or policy compliance is unclear.

6. Competition: Compete fairly based on merit, quality, and pricing. Avoid improper cooperation, payments, or boycotts with competitors.

7. Proprietary Information: Respect intellectual property rights and ensure no unauthorized use or distribution of confidential company or partner information.

8. Selective Disclosure: Maintain confidentiality and do not disclose material non-public information selectively to external parties.

9. Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all. Employees should refer to the safety manual available at the HR department.

10. Avoid Conflicts of Interest: Avoid relationships or activities that impair objectivity, such as employment with competitors, supervising family members, or personal gain in company transactions.

11. Gifts, Gratuities and Business Courtesies: Avoid any actions that create a perception of unfair treatment or favoritism.

12. Accepting Business Courtesies: Accept only unsolicited courtesies that foster goodwill. Employees influencing contracts must avoid any form of favoritism.

13. Meals, Refreshments and Entertainment: Accept only if the activity is not lavish, not frequent, not intended to influence decisions, and can be comfortably disclosed publicly.

14. Gifts: Accept only modest, unsolicited gifts. Any gift with a value exceeding $100 requires formal management approval.

15. Offering Business Courtesies: Ensure courtesies offered cannot be interpreted as seeking an unfair advantage and comply with industry practices.

16. Set Metrics and Report Results Accurately: Financial disclosures must be accurate, timely, and complete. Do not mislead auditors or interfere with audit processes.

17. Promote Substance Over Form: Make courageous decisions that go beyond minimum legal requirements and follow guiding principles even when difficult.

18. Accountability: All employees must know and adhere to this Code. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment.

19. Loyalty: Protect proprietary information, respect data privacy, use company resources responsibly, and direct all media inquiries to the General Manager.

20. Do the Right Thing: Always evaluate if an action complies with principles, if it misrepresents information, and how it would appear in public headlines.
